Abstract

Background. The article is based on the research of the potential of "end-toend" digital technologies in the context of solving quality management problems. The purpose of this article is to develop the theoretical and methodological basis for improving quality management systems in the course of digital transformation. Materials and methods. To identify ways to improve the effectiveness of quality management mechanisms, approaches to ensuring the effectiveness of mechanisms for improving quality management systems and the effects of their implementation in the pre-digital period and in the context of digital transformation are studied and generalized. The approaches to the creation of a theoretical and methodological basis for the introduction of technological innovations to support quality management systems are analyzed. Results. Based on the results of the study, new principles of quality management in the context of digital transformation were developed: the principle of using "end-to-end" digital technologies to improve quality management systems; the principle of selecting "end-to-end" digital technologies that are most suitable for improving quality management systems, including through the creation of digital counterparts of the enterprise, the full life cycle of products and quality management systems. The application of these principles allowed us to develop a conceptual scheme for the digital transformation of quality management systems from the point of view of their improvement. Conclusions. To improve quality management systems in the context of improving processes and procedures based on data collection and analysis (processes and procedures for planning, auditing, data analysis and improvement), such "end-to-end" digital technologies as big data, blockchain and the industrial Internet of Things can be used at the present stage. Their effective use is unthinkable without the digital transformation of the quality management system.
